On Saturday, Florida linebacker Jelani Jenkins played his first full game since the season opener. A broken thumb and a hamstring injury have slowed his season, but the redshirt junior is now back on the field and at full strength. The Gators were able to develop depth at the linebacker position as younger players stepped up. Jenkins’ return was a big boost for Florida defense.

Feel chills as this creepy Florida Gators fan peers directly into your soul (video)
Sure, the Florida Gators laid a savage SEC beatdown on the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday in Gainesville, winning 44-11, but that doesn’t mean every single Gators fan in attendance was enjoying the show. Or at least, when a camera panned over a gaggle of Gators fans early in the 4th quarter, there was one disturbed [...]
No. 3 Florida has shot to clinch SEC East
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Getting to Atlanta for the Southeastern Conference championship game is the goal for every team in the Southeastern Conference.
Florida has accomplished it more often than anyone else.
Maybe that's why the third-ranked Gators are taking such a ho-hum approach to Saturday's all-important game against No. 12 Georgia. A more likely scenario, though, is...
Did You See This Creepy Florida Gators Fan On Saturday?
If not, WERE you this creepy Florida Gators fan from Saturday?
This is why people drink alcohol before football games instead of smoking pot. It’s always why people go on antidepressants.

The only Florida – Georgia (World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party) you’ll ever need
Throw The Flag is a mediocre blog that deals with jokes and memes and every once in awhile serious issues. Today! We rely on memes and over terrible things that only the blue collar man can relate to. I kind of like that. Would you rather read an amazing article with statistics or just hear some guy tell you how it is? Maybe I’m totally biased but I want the basics and jokes. That...
Socrates: How to Beat the Gators – Defense
Yesterday we focused our attention on the Florida Offense with the Gators tendencies and ways of containing their multiple offense. Today is a far tougher task. That is, how may the Bulldogs exploit the defensive tendencies so we may score enough points for victory on Saturday?
After reviewing the common opponents Vanderbilt, Kentucky and South Carolina, the Gators defense has...
Watkins Finding Motivation from a Year Ago
It may have been the biggest of turning points for Florida junior cornerback Jaylen Watkins. A year ago, in the Georgia game, Watkins was victimized by a fourth down pass for a touchdown in a game that was decided by less than a touchdown. Watkins spent a while early in the year at safety, was just getting a little more comfortable at corner, but this moment changed everything.
Critical for Success - Florida
It's time for the biggest game of the season. We have lots of rivals (NATS, the Alabama Cow College, Clempson, USCjr, the other UT), but there's only one rival that brings out a dislike that goes beyond "old fashioned" in the Bulldog Nation. Of course, that's the jorts-wearing Florida Gators and its fan base that doesn't think college football was played...
Will Muschamp Tries To Overcome the “ADVERSITY ON THE FIELD”
Florida Gators coach Will Muschamp is quickly becoming my favorite coach in all of sports. You never know when “Coach Boom” will absolutely lose his mind on the field. The most recent occasion happened at halftime of their 44-11 victory over the 9th-ranked South Carolina Gamecocks. We featured this clip in our most recent episode of Ride The Pine – “Jim Nantz Is Easily...

Denny, Keith, and Hollywood bob get together to talk about your 7-0 Florida Gators as they head into the "Death Match" with Georgia. Basketball reviews weekend scrimmage
The Gators went through a team scrimmage on Sunday after a long week of practice. Florida coach Billy Donovan wanted to see the effort with his team already tired from the week. He was happy with what he saw. The team’s performance wasn’t flawless and had plenty of room to grow, but the effort was where Donovan wanted to be. The Gators have room to improve with the first exhibition...
