Armstrong was probably the best safety Miami had, a senior, and a former five-star guy. Al Golden not messing around at all.

Ray Ray Armstrong was just kicked off the Miami Hurricane’s football team. The safety is considered one of the best in the country and would almost definitely be a future high NFL draft pick.
Ray Ray is from Sanford, Florida and attended Seminole High School. He helped lead his team to the Florida Class 6A state championship.
This is a huge move by head coach Al Golden. It shows he isn’t messing around with players. There were some “issues” with Armstrong’s Twitter account for possible interaction with a booster which seems minor. He was suspended for the FSU game for a violation of team rules before.
We can only speculate what caused this dismissal. Details will continue to emerge.
