Bowl season is right around the corner, and it's always great to hear how pumped up players get about taking a little vacay and having the opportunity to showcase their skills in a fresh, albeit often unfamiliar, setting. Of course, as we all know, all bowl destinations were not created equal. Boise isn't exactly Miami or Tampa this time of year, Birmingham doesn't quite offer the frills of Nashville or Atlanta, and, for Dawgs LB Rennie Curran, who's taken trips to New Orleans and Orlando the past two post seasons, spending Christmas in Shreveport, Louisiana doesn't sound all that appealing either.
Curran had this to say regarding Georgia's upcoming trip to the Independence Bowl to face Texas A&M: "I looked up some of the attractions and saw, like, a National Park, or something like that. Sounds exciting."
