Michael Dyer is set to return to college football, and a USA Today report says he's headed to Louisville. Arkansas Baptist College President Fitz Hill, who served as a mentor to Dyer while he earned an associate's degree at the college, told USA Today that the former Auburn running back has accepted a scholarship offer from Louisville and plans to enroll at the school next week. Dyer, who hasn't played football since the 2011 season, would be a junior and is eligible to play immediately, the report says. "He's excited to have an opportunity to resume his career," Hill told USA TODAY. "Many people doubted that Michael would ever make this comeback, and it's here." Dyer left the Tigers in December 2011 after he was suspended for failing drug tests prior to the Chick-fil-A Bowl. He transferred to Arkansas State in 2012, but was dismissed when news of a traffic stop from months earlier -- where he was reportedly cited for driving 96 mph in a 70-mph zone -- became public.
