Before April’s NFL draft, Dolphins’ general manager Jeff Bryant ignited a media firestorm of sorts when he reportedly asked Dez Bryant, during a meeting, if his mother had ever been a prostitute. Bryant answered the question, saying ‘no,’ and moved on--but he was understandably offended.Later that month, Bryant was selected 24th overall by Dallas; on Thursday, he’ll see Ireland for the first time since the incident--at least if Ireland has anything to say about it, he will.According to a report in the Miami Herald, which cites an unnamed source, the Miami GM “has given thought to the Bryant situation in recent days and would like to speak with Bryant.”Ireland, per the Herald, has spoken with Dolphins officials about the potential meeting, and the media intrigue that will inevitably follow.
