Mike Freeman of CBS Sports reports that multiple league sources have informed him that “most, if not all of [teams with head coaching vacancies]” have reached out to Alabama head coach Nick Saban in “some unofficial capacity,” but he has informed them that he’s not interested in leaving for the NFL. Saban has been speculative option for the Browns who were also reportedly considering the idea of pairing him with Michael Lombardi, but the idea has lost some steam in recent weeks. There’s no question that Saban is in a great position and leaving for the NFL brings with it plenty of uncertainly regarding his future. Saban has said one thing and done another in the past, but it really seems as if he’s prepared to stay at Alabama for the long haul.
