Strengths:
Prototypical size for a tight end. Impressive athleticism for his size. Surprising speed and overall quickness. A solid route runner who his improved dramatically in this area. Coming off a breakout senior year.
Weaknesses:
Limited experience; only one year a starter. Hasn’t faced a lot of top competition. Strength is marginal; struggles as a blocker at times. Struggles to fight through traffic at the line of scrimmage; can simply get out-physicaled by bigger linebackers and gets knocked off his route too easily.
Comments:
Housler struggled to see playing time early in his career at FAU which prompted him to redshirt in 2009 in hopes of earning a bigger role in the offense as a senior.
