Roster Rundown: #95 Martin Tevaseu

Position: Defensive Line Height / Weight: 6’2″ 325 lbs. Age: 24 / Experience: 2 College: UNLV 2011 Contract Status: Undisclosed (restricted) 2011 Analysis: I want my MTV! Tevaseu is a player that the Jets are trying to bring along in their defensive line rotation. MTV saw little action during the course of the season and while he did have a few key plays to beat back the line of scrimmage, he also made some mistakes that raw players can tend to make.  He saw some more time than might have been expected in 2011 due to some injuries to players ahead of him on the chart, but the team tried to limit his time on the field. 2012 Outlook: The Jets will likely keep MTV on the roster in 2012, but his role might not change all that much as the Jets should bring back players like Pouha (free agent).  Look for the Jets to keep working with him to make him a fulltime backup interior lineman for the team come 2013.
