The Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-1) will have their work cut out for them on Thursday night as they play against the No. 8 ranked Lousivlle Cardinals. (5-0)
Since an opening week loss, Rutgers has strung together four consecutive wins including a thrilling 55-52 win over SMU last week. Meanwhile little has stood in the way of Louisville thus far this season as they have marched out to a 5-0 start with Heisman hopeful Teddy Bridgewater under center.
Thursday’s game between Rutgers and Louisville will air on ESPN and WatchESPN beginning at 7:30 pm ET from Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, KY.
Avg Points Allowed
The Odds: The Louisville Cardinals are 18 point favorites against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. The over/under for this game is 55.5 total points.
Will Louisville move to 6-0 with a home win or will Rutgers continue to string together wins?

Heisman hopeful and projected 2014 NFL Draft first round pick Teddy Bridgewater and the Louisville Cardinals look to make a statement in their first real test of the season in Week 7 against the up-and-coming Rutgers Scarlet Knights on Thursday night in Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Louisville intercepted passes on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter, the last to set up Teddy Bridgewater's 3-yard touchdown pass that clinched the Cardinals' 24-10 victory over Rutgers on Thursday night.
Defense was the story for the eighth-ranked Cardinals (6-0, 2-0 American Athletic Conference), who had four interceptions and sacked Gary Nova eight times. Safety...
On Wednesday, Rick Bozich of WDRB-TV reported that Pittsburgh Steelers General Manager Kevin Colbert would be present for the Thursday night game between Louisville and Rutgers to possibly watch Cardinals quarterback Teddy Bridgewater play. That news of course has sent Steelers fans into a frenzy.

Who would have ever thought that the New York Giants would be 0-5 and battling with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
The Giants picked a unique time to decide to be awful. They are a really bad team, heading for a top pick in a quarterback dominated draft.
The question now for the Giants who are on the verge of starting over, is what do...
Louisville intercepted passes on back-to-back drives in the fourth quarter, the second by Terell Floyd to set up Teddy Bridgewater's 3-yard touchdown pass that clinched the Cardinals' 24-10 victory over Rutgers on Thursday.
Despite having three very capable running backs in the backfield, I think it’s safe to say that the strength of the Louisville offense is Teddy Bridgewater and the wide receiving group. Rutgers also has a solid running game; however they’re leading rusher, Paul James, has been sidelined in recent weeks and won’t play against Louisville on Thursday. In James’ absence, Kyle...
Thursday night the No.8 Louisville Cardinals defeated the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 24-10. The Cardinals defense stepped up and gave the team a lift on an off night for Teddy Bridgewater. I picked the Knights to win this game but the Cardinals proved me wrong.
Rutgers offense suffered horribly without Paul James as they rushed for a putrid 12 yards. Gary Nova was bad himself as he...
Louisville junior quarterback Teddy Bridgewater may very well be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft, just like Peyton Manning was in 1998. But according to the Cardinals star himself, that isn’t where the comparisons of the two end. He took a few questions from Twitter on SportsCenter today and made quite a claim when asked which NFL quarterback he sees himself as most similar...
Rutgers and No. 8 Louisville are heading their separate ways.

The Louisville Cardinals (5-0, 1-0) are leading the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (4-1, 1-0) at the half 17-7 in their home stadium. Many felt that this could be Louisville’s most challenging game of the season in the American Athletic Conference. There are NFL scouts from almost every team in attendance taking a look at Teddy Bridgewater, who at the moment is 10 of 14 for 154 yards...

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Rutgers goes in-depth with Cardinal Authority publisher Jody Demling for five questions to get ready for tonight’s nationally televised clash. Demling breaks down Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and everything Cardinals.
Louisville (6-0, 2-0) wins against Rutgers (4-2, 1-1) tonight 24-10; but did they lose? Not having a dominant performance against perhaps their most challenging opponent this season did not help their cause to be considered a National championship contender. Teddy had a good game but he was far from perfect in his performance, throwing for 310 yards on 21 for 31 passing attempts...
ESPN national radio host Colin Cowherd can’t seem to make up his mind about Louisville quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. Along with doing radio for ESPN, he also frequently appears on the four letter network’s television show, SportsNation. Cowherd appeared on the show shortly after the NFL Draft in late April and shared an interesting take on NFL quarterbacks.
“Most of the...
