It took a while, but there's finally some attrition from the coaching debacle(s) and the University of Delaware is the beneficiary (via Newark Post Online):
In addition to the 10 recruits, Keeler also announced the additions of transfers Trent Hurley from Bowling Green and Sam Collura from Pittsburgh. Hurley is a sophomore quarterback from Connellsville, Pa. (Greensburg Central Catholic HS) and Collura is a redshirt freshman offensive lineman from Elkridge, Md. (DeMatha Catholic HS). Both are enrolled at Delaware and will take part in spring drills beginning in March.
Interestingly, Collura was originally a Wannstedt recruit who stayed committed through the change to Todd Graham. I would have assumed he would be excited for the opportunity to go back to a power/pro system, but who knows. Maybe he wanted to be closer to home.
Either way, Godspeed Mr. Collura. Just don't become a starting quarterback in the AFC North, ya hear?
