The blitz: The only good news at this point for the Volunteers is that this week's opponent, South Carolina, enters this weekend's game on a two-game losing streak. The bad news for Derek Dooley's program? South Carolina is an SEC team a far superior one at that and Dooley is just 1-11 in his past 12 conference games. This Saturday is not likely to produce a different result. The Volunteers will be tasked with stopping Marcus Lattimore (597 rushing yards, 10 touchdowns), which is easier said than done when you're letting up 186.4 yards per game on the ground. Three of the four ranked opponents Tennessee has faced this season racked up at least 233 rushing yards against the porous Volunteers defense. Also of note: Volunteers' signal caller Tyler Bray has only been sacked three times this season (tied for second-least nationally), but that number might double against bookends Jadeveon Clowne...
