The nation's two top-rated quarterbacks will square off in the SEC championship game.
No. 3 Georgia's Aaron Murray and No. 2 Alabama's AJ McCarron have played in plenty of big games - with mixed results.
McCarron takes the ''it's just another game'' approach when asked about the stakes of Saturday's showdown for a BCS title shot. Murray didn't speak with reporters this week.
They're the SEC's two winningest active quarterbacks. McCarron was MVP of the BCS national championship game and led the winning drive against LSU. He also threw his only two interceptions of the season a week later in the team's lone loss, to Texas A&M.
Murray was 11 of 31 passing in a loss to South Carolina and threw three first-half interceptions in a win over Florida.

College football week 14: Tailgater picks of the week
What a week 13. Congratulations are in order for John Mitchell, who had the first perfect week of the year. Seth Doege’s unlikely interception-filled performance, worsened by some unfortunate tipped balls, spoiled my bid at a one-loss week, and with the season’s final set of games approaching we’re all vying for that .500 mark:

Farewell to Coach Bill Curry
Georgia State head coach Bill Curry coached his last game on November 10, 2012 in a drubbing 51-7 loss to Maine. The final score of his final game does not necessarily represent the final impact of Curry's coaching and football career. Curry took the job at Georgia State 12 years after his last time as a head coach at Kentucky in 1996. He was also previously the head coach at...
Alabama Running Game – Film Study
One of the most important facets of the upcoming SEC Championship Game will be the Alabama running game. More specifically, if Georgia can slow down Alabama's two primary backs, Eddie Lacy and T. J. Yeldon, and get the Bulldog defense off the field by denying long drives.
Pay particular attention to Alabama's line play in this video.
K.M. College Football Poetry Slam – Notre Dame vs. Alabama preview
Once upon the April mid, A-Day football on irons grid,
With McCarron, Yeldon, and Bell starring, K.M. swore
This team would be champing, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some ghosts gently rapping, rapping at the title’s door.
‘Stupid Echoes, that,’ I muttered, ‘yerning for that Irish ***** -
Only this, and nothing more.’

Much Is Made Of One Tide Loss
As Alabama and Georgia prepare for Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game in Atlanta, for some reason, much more has been made of Alabama’s one loss than has been made of Georgia being beaten once this season. In fact, there has been more talk about the Crimson Tide’s one loss in 2011 than about the defeat suffered by the Bulldogs.

Week 14: Championship Week
Bama-Georgia Ya’ll. Since many believe football barely exists outside the SEC, if you watch this you might not need to watch anymore football this week. About That Weak Schedule
If we have learned anything from the media this season, it is that Alabama has played one of the nation's toughest schedules while Georgia has played mostly FCS schools. Georgia has no business even being in a championship game with a school that plays as toughest schedule as Alabama, right?
