Courtney Upshaw doesn't appear to have too much to prove to NFL teams at this week's Senior Bowl.
The former Alabama linebacker is a projected first-round draft pick and possible top 10 selection. He says he wanted to play in the showcase game for top senior prospects to ''compete with the best.''

Alabama has released the schedule for the Crimson Caravan, its version of the college booster club rubber chicken circuit. The Crimson Caravan brings Nick Saban and other Crimson Tide dignitaries to cities across the South to meet and greet with the team boosters.

Tennessee was determined to bounce back from the second-worst loss in program history. With a matchup against slumping Alabama, it was an easy task.

Tickets are now on sale for the nine stops of the 2012 Crimson Caravan featuring University of Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and other UA special guests.
Season tickets for the 2012 University of Alabama baseball season are available now, with ticket prices beginning at $60 for the 31-game Crimson Tide home schedule. The season begins on Friday, Feb. 17 against Florida Atlantic at Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 6:05 p.m.
Statistics may be for losers, but no one on Alabama’s winning side wants to forget about the extraordinary job the Crimson Tide did statistically, as well as on the field, in winning the national championship in 2011.
