Who needs the college football analysis of ESPN, Yahoo! Sports, Sports Illustrated and the like when the “scouting reports” courtesy of Seventeen magazine are so much more entertaining? The iconic teenage girl-geared publication just released its list of “The Hottest College Football Players.” Below are some of our more favorite descriptors: Braxton Miller, Ohio State QB: “Braxton set a school record last year for the most yards rushed. We think he deserves a school record for hotness!” T.J. Yeldon, Alabama RB: “TJ was named a freshman All-American by Sporting News and Scout.com last year and he made the SEC All-Freshman team. We can’t get enough of his smoldering stare!” Stefon Diggs, Maryland WR: “Swoon-worthy Stefon was voted the ACC’s rookie of the year last year! How can you resist that smile?” Mike Sadler, Michigan State P: “According to MSU’s site, this hot punter has achieved near-perfect perfection in the academic arena, maintain a 3.9 GPA! Hot and smart — what more could you want?!” We’re in pain from doubling over laughing so hard. [Seventeen]

An upset was in the air last year in Columbus when Ohio State hosted Cal, but it was to no avail as the Buckeyes defeated Cal 35-28 in the closing minutes of the four quarter. With an injured Braxton Miller and an improved Cal offense, this Saturday’s rematch at Cal’s Memorial Stadium could be the first real test for the 2013 Ohio State Football team.
Head Coach Urban Meyer and...
After scoring a touchdown to go ahead 28-14, Crimson Tide running back TJ Yeldon did the Johnny Football money sign and then followed it up with a throat slash. The play obviously got him a 15-yard personal foul, which I’m sure Nick Saban was thrilled about. Alabama has taken control of the game after Texas A&M jumped out to an early lead.
T.J. Yeldon has been trying to prove some kind of point all day. It started when, after a touchdown run in the first half of Alabama's 49-42 win at Texas A&M on Saturday, Yeldon mimmicked Manziel's "money fingers" gesture and then did a double throat slash move.
The throat slash, of course, has been flagged as a personal foul practically every time it has happened...
Braxton Miller will not play for No. 4 Ohio State at California because of a sprained ligament in his left knee.
An Ohio State spokesman confirmed the decision about 30 minutes before Saturday's kickoff. Fifth-year senior Kenny Guiton started in Miller's place.
Miller was in shorts and a T-shirt when the Buckeyes ran onto the field at Memorial Stadium. He injured his knee...
It’s too soon to start calling Braxton Miller “Wally Pipp.” But senior quarterback Kenny Guiton has proven himself to be more than a backup. Guiton, making his first career start, played a very good game in leading the Ohio State to a mostly comfortable 52-34 victory in Berkeley.
Guiton threw for 276 yards and four touchdowns and also rushed for 92 yards in...
T.J. Yeldon knows how big this game is.
Alabama leads Texas A&M 28-14 at the half, and Yeldon capped off the first half with this touchdown run, followed by the mock of Johnny Manziel’s “money” celebration.
This second half is going to be amazing.
Alabama and Texas A&M are in a battle right now with Bama being up 28-14 at half after being down 14-0. RB TJ Yeldon scored from short yardage to give them the 14 point lead and decided to do a little “Money Manziel” celebration.
Too bad that double throat slash cost them 15 yards and got him and earful from Nick Saban.

Alabama head football coach Nick Saban wasn't at all too amused with the way Crimson Tide running back T.J. Yeldon celebrated a late-second period touchown against Texas A&M on Saturday. He was probably even less amused with the unsportsmanlike conduct penalty Yeldon got for making it.
Ohio State quarterback Braxton Miller indeed did not make the start at Cal. Getting the nod was senior Kenny Guiton, who once again put on a show completing 21 of 32 passes for 276 yards and four touchdowns along with no interceptions. He also added 92 yards rushing on 14 carries.
Ohio State would go on to romp Cal by winning 52-34. The game easily could have been one for Ohio State...
Texas A&M got off to a fast start against Alabama with 14 quick points, but than Alabama fired back with 28 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead. The fourth touchdown came off a 4-yard run by T.J. Yeldon on a drive that started after a Johnny Manziel interception.
Following the touchdown Yeldon gave A&M a reason to get fired up by mocking their quarterback.
Last year with a healthy Braxton Miller in the lineup, the Cal Bears gave the Ohio State Buckeyes all they could handle, falling just short of upsetting the eventual undefeated team. This season, with Miller’s game status in question for the Buckeyes’ trip to California, Ohio State will need to put the Bears away much earlier if they hope to leave the west coast undefeated.

Could the be (likely) the first time in the history of ever that we see a backup win the Heisman Trophy? Check out these mind-boggling stats!
Kenny came into Ohio State’s first game of the season when the uber-hyped Braxton Miller tweaked his knee. He wasn’t in long, but did manage to go 1/1 for 21 yards and rush for 6. Not really a big deal. But the next...
Kenny Guiton threw three of his four touchdown passes in the first six minutes of his first career start and No. 4 Ohio State rolled to its 15th straight victory, 52-34 over California on Saturday.
Guiton, a fifth-year senior, got the start in place of injured Braxton Miller and there was no drop-off in performance for the Buckeyes (3-0).
Guiton connected with Devin Smith on a...
The No. 4 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will travel west to play the California Golden Bears on Saturday.
Ohio State finished last season undefeated and are 2-0 to start 2013 while California (1-1) found a way to even their record last week.
Coverage of this game will air on FOX in select markets beginning at 7:00 pm ET (4:00 pm PT) from Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, CA...
It may be hard to believe, but there are other college football games being played today than the Texas A&M/Alabama match up. None of the other ones have the weight this one does, but are big games in their own right.
So if you just don't want to watch the Texas A&M/Alabama game or want to know what you should record on your DVR here are my Fat Five games other than...
