Shiloh Keo S Idaho
Ht: 5’11″
Wt: 220
Strengths:
Good overall size and strength. Excels in run support; plays like an extra linebacker. Plenty of experience on special teams. Two-time team captain. A hard hitter; makes receivers think twice about going across the middle. Decent ball skills.
Weaknesses:
Limited athletically; will struggle in coverage at the next level. Doesn’t have the speed to stick with many tight ends or running backs. Missed most of 2008 season due to shoulder surgery. Arrested in 2009 on misdemeanor battery charges.
Comments:
Keo was one of the better defensive players in the WAC over the past few seasons, but he just doesn’t have the athleticism to be an impact player at the next level. His experience on special teams, however, will be valuable and someone should give him a shot in the late rounds of the draft.
