Some interesting things have happened in the past few days and I wanted to do my semi-weekly Teams to Watch (if you're looking for upsets in the First round of March Madness) and now potential Top Seeds: Under the Radar... -George Mason/VCU in the CAA: HUGE win for Mason as mentioned earlier today. I think the thing holding Mason back is winning on the road. If VCU keeps up solid play, hopefully 2 bids. Would love to see a CAA finals re-match. -Drake/Illinois State in the Valley: the MVC is not what it's been. However, I like these two right now and that could be it for this conference. Maybe Creighton.... -For the BCS world: Kansas State and Baylor. Mason beat K-State in December and is undefeated in the Big 12. Baylor has the Valpo pedigree and I love their bounce-back from the dead. -Davidson. Still like them. -Oral Roberts/South Alabama. You gotta like teams undefeated in their respective conferences. Butler/Cleveland State- Like Mason above, very much on the brink Xavier/Dayton. Does the A-10+3 take 2?? (figure that equation out) Utah State: Dad Dad Dad-are the Aggies that much better than Penn State??? Final Four in waiting: Here are possibilities (and yes, I'm aware the math is off): -Kansas, UCLA, Duke, Michigan State (Duke will beat UNC in their first matchup) -Georgetown, Tennessee, UNC, Indiana That's my .02 for now
