Sloppy game but Terps lead at half

Maryland finally forced its first turnover the season -- a fumble by Dwight Dasher recovered by Travis Ivey. The play gave the Terps the ball at the MTSU 19. Davin Meggett went in from the 1 on the fifth play of the series to put the Terps ahead 14-13 in the second quarter. The Terps have three turnovers and are lucky to be ahead. MTSU has two turnovers --- the Dasher fumble being the most damaging. The turnovers -- one by quarterback Jamar Robinson, playing situationally -- ruined a good start to the half for the Terps, who should win if they can keep the ball off the ground.
