WANTED: A SMU kicker

SMU lost its starting kicker Chase Hover last week before the Houston game to mono. The Mustangs backup kickers are 0-3 on field goals and PATs in the last two weeks. In Saturday's game against Rice, the backups missed a field goal and an extra point that almost ended up costing SMU the game.

SMU looks to get to 7-5 record vs. Rice

The Mustangs have lost four of their last five games. The Run and Shoot has not been clicking and J.J. McDermott has struggled. Today is Senior Day and a chance for SMU to salvage its season before heading into their guaranteed bowl game next month.
