As UK takes on the Chippewas of Central Michigan, I was looking at a couple of their blogs to see some smack talk going on. I did not find however any smack talk really going on, but I dd find this story that only gives Kentucky a 27-21 victory over them.

Preview: CMU @ Kentucky
By TheChipReport.com
CMU travels to Lexington, KY to take on the SEC conference, Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday. Kentucky started off the season much like the Chippewas with a sloppy 14-3 win over W. Kentucky.
Kentucky struggled to move the football and sorely missed their club house leading QB, Mike Hartline, who graduated in 2010. They also missed their home run threat, Randall Cobb who left the program early for the NFL draft. The loss of these key contributors and 12 other seniors leaves a new face on the Kentucky program and a potential building year ahead of them.
Keys to an upset
-Ryan Radcliff must get off to a quick start. If Radcliff can build on some early confidence we may see the end of the season QB vs. the QB we saw against SC State last week.
-The Chippewas must take an early lead. If CMU can jump out in front early, they can play a more conservative game and stick to the ground while counting on the defense to make some stops.
-Turn overs. If CMU can avoid turnovers and cause a couple, they have a great chance to beat up on this rebuilding Kentucky team.
-Big plays. If CMU can limit the 20+ yard plays Kentucky converts and tally a couple themselves, this could make all the difference.
I would normally say this is a prime candidate for an upset with all of the returning talent for the Chippewas, but Ryan Radcliff lacked composure last week and we can only expect this to be exemplified in the harsh conditions in Lexington.
That being said, with the extremely difficult out of conference schedule ahead, the Chippewas have to look at this game as a must win because this might be their best chance at another out of conference victory in 2011.
Prediction
I am truly on the fence with this prediction. If I had seen a slightly stronger performance from the Chippewas at home last week I could probably give them the nod but instead will take the Wildcats in a close one. KU 27 – CMU 21 Let’s hope I’m wrong."Keep following www.wildcatbluenation.com for the best in Kentucky basketball and football news, rumors, and opinions. By Kentucky fans for Kentucky fans
