South Carolina is working towards becoming a household name in the SEC. I'd say they are on the right track. Success has come on the field for the Gamecocks lately but part of the reason is their success off the field. Steve Spurrier and his staff have done an excellent job recruiting top-notch talent and evaluating recruits who will perform at the next level. 2012 appears to be another great year for the Gamecocks in the recruiting ranks and several prospects have the potential to be instant impacts for the Gamecocks.
