The Southern Utah Thunderbirds lost to the California Golden Bears 50-31 in college football action Saturday, but they did provide one of the day's highlights at the end of the first half when they connected on a Hail Mary touchdown pass.

Southern Utah quarterback Brad Sorensen threw it up in the corner of the end zone, where it was tipped by a Cal defender and caught with one hand by receiver Cameron Morgan for a 37-yard touchdown.
