PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Two days before National Signing Day, Rutgers hired Kyle Flood to replace Greg Schiano as the head coach of the football program. Team leaders Brandon Jones, D.C. Jefferson and Betim Bujari all watched the press conference from the team meeting room and offered their thoughts Tuesday afternoon.

Rutgers Football Announces 2012 Recruiting Class

Rutgers head football coach Kyle Flood announced Wednesday that 18 student-athletes have signed to play football for the Scarlet Knights beginning in the fall of 2012. In addition, Rutgers already secured commitments from two mid-year enrollees, to bring the signing class total to 20.

The Syracuse men’s lacrosse team’s will take on BIG EAST rival Rutgers in the opening game of the third annual ESPNU Warrior Classic Saturday, April 14 in Charlotte, N.C. The Orange and Scarlet Knights will face off at 11 a.m. in American Legion Memorial Stadium, home of the MLL’s Charlotte Hounds, as part of a doubleheader announced by the network today.
