Stanford cornerback Terrence Brown has decided to forego his final year of eligibility at Stanford to enter the NFL draft.
In a statement released by the school Tuesday, Brown thanked Cardinal coach David Shaw and defensive coordinator Derek Mason for the opportunity. He said the ''past four years have been a great experience for me at Stanford, and I feel well prepared to move on to the next level.''
Brown's departure comes a day after standout tight ends Zach Ertz and Levine Toilolo announced they also would declare for the draft with one year of eligibility remaining.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound Brown had one interception and 65 tackles while starting all 14 games this season. He's on pace to graduate in June with a degree in science, technology and society.
