Charlie Strong has recieved another verbal commitment from a Miami area native. Brandon Radcliff, a 5-10 200 lb. running back from Miami Columbus high school committed to the Cards earlier this morning. Radcliff  is rated as a 2-star prospect by Scout.com. Sun State Football named him one of the top 20 prospects in Dade County. Despite all the accolades, Florida Atlantic is the only program in the Sunshine state to offer him a scholarship. He chose Louisville over Central Michigan, Cinicnnati, Michigan, State, and Utah State. Radliff’s situation is very similar to current Louisville running back Jeremy Wright. Wright was also rated as one of the top running backs in Florida, but didn’t receive many offers within the state. Wright struggled with some injuries this past season, but overall I think he has been a very pleasant surprise for the Cards. Hopefully we will be saying the same thing about Radcliff.
