Kansas in front of OSU? Nah. Had they beaten Virginia Tech really bad, then I'd take that.

4 teams from the Big 12 in final top ten, SEC who?

sec back to back national champs.... thats who

west virginia at #2...you know steve slaton and rich rodriguez left, right (along with some paperwork apparently)? way too high. they've come into the last 3 seasons with a lot of hype, and haven't once been able to handle it and finish a season unbeaten. here's how my preseason top 10 would shake down:
1. georgia; 2. usc; 3. florida; 4. ohio state; 5. oklahoma; 6. lsu; 7. texas; 8. missouri; 9. illinois; 10. auburn

there is a guy that is named noel divine right on my profile picture who will be better i mean way better than slaton and coach dick rod is the most unprepared coach i have ever season.

Hey wolvs there goes the seasoncoach dick rod

cincy sports you dont no wut your talking about WVU has delivered in every big bowl game they have been. ANd if i do remember they won the fiesta bowl over OKLAHOMA by 20 without Steve SLaton and the worhtless coach rich rod

WVU lost Reynaud too along with three-fourths of their D. My top ten: 1. Georgia 2. USC 3. Ohio State 4. Florida 5. Oklahoma 6. Mizzou 7. Auburn 8. LSU 9. WVU 10. Texas

Michigan is going all the way going to aBCS bowl game

where is clemsoN???? SHOULD BE AT LEAST 8TH UR NUTTS

9. Tennesse
10. LSU

I love this list, although im not so sure Tenn belongs in the top 10 for 2007 with that crushing loss to my Gators 59-20 and the loss to Cal, which had a godawful end of the season. But what I really love about your preseason 2008 is that OSU is nowhere on the list. Thats perfect, b/c they just dont belong anywhere near it. Well done. 5 SEC teams....DUN.

your kidding me about Ohio State not being in there, this is the best team we have had in yrs. wake up and smell the coffee, first yr we have kept our juniors and we have 2 qbs and the best def in the nation.

I LOVE HOW WEST VA IS GOING FOR THE JR COLLAGE PLAYERS...GREAT JOB BILL..........!!

well...I put money on THE DAWGS slamin LSU several reasons ga defense, yeah i said it their d is way underated and oh yeah moreno caleb king stafford, bailey, massiquia(spelling) and the nearly all sophmore oline hell I would make those calls even if I werent a dawg fan and ah who is gonna be lsu's QB and god help us if it ever came to gergia florida man they would have to bring in the natl guard for that game ha ha GO DAWGS!!!!!

heck yea man, FL/GA could very well determine the SEC Champion (it will def determine the SEC East), and possibly who goes to the Nat'l Championship game if UGA can handle its rough string of away games. And we all can bet money that a 1-loss SEC team will go over a 1-loss Ohio State. So unless OSU goes undefeated, they have no shot at the title game. Thank god. Tho it would be fun to watch them get their asses handed to them by another SEC team....whose turn is it now? I think UGA is up in the rotation.

Ha ha ha ..I am just amazed how all you guys are ranking Ohio State at 7 and 8. Back to back national championship appearances and this is how you guys react. Just because we choked twice in the big game doesnt mean the big ten is bad. Hopefully this years USC game will prove what Im saying. Ill see you all at the Dolphin Stadium on January 8th. And this time ... Ill be walking out with a smile.

There may be 4 teams from big 12 in the top ten....but who's at the top. Dun. S....E....C
Gators in '08

Um lets look at things. First, the only teams that are going to beat a SEC team is a SEC team. That being said whoever wins the SEC will go to Nat'l Championship. They will beat the next big team. To bad the ACC will suck for another 2-3 years so OU or OSU it looks like Ga up this year. Good luck.

All ya'll dawgs come on down!! We are waiting for you bunch of crying can't win the big game Dawgs!
Dawgs don't go to the SEC champ game but you wan't to jump LSU and go to the BCS! Explain that>?
Instead of being proud SEC fans and backing LSU you guys dogged us and your can't win anything head coach lead the way! Come on down Come on down you got a ass wiping coming and Les is waiting !

1. OSU
2. UG
3. OU
4. USC
5. MIZZOU
6. FLORIDA
7. CLEMSON
No need to go any further, two of these 7 will be in the National Title Game. My guess is OSU and Ga.

1. UGA
2. OSU
3. OU
4.USC
5. UF (maybe their d sucked last year)
6. MIZZOURI
7.WVU
8. AUBURN
9.LSU
10. CLEMSON
Keep in mind that auburn and west virginia play eachother, as do usc and osu

yall are all stupid LSU is gonna be in the top en if ot the top 5

florida gators heisman winner great players already there and great players comming on this is the number 1 team this year uga is two great talent but falls short to florida lsu next then mizzouri usc clemson tenn auburn thats my picks

Why do people always put the same traditional schools in their preseason polls. People trust me Ron Zook of Illinois is a great recruiter and he proved last year what he can do with his abilities. I know the Rose Bowl performance wasnt great but the guys were inexperienced at that stage, I think we'll def. be one of the contenders this upcoming season for the national championship even without mendenhall
