December 21st at 8:00am marks the kickoff time for this year’s San Diego Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl between current powerhouse TCU and a red hot Louisiana Tech team. After a disappointing two loss season, the Horned Frogs are looking to rebound with a win over a much improved LA Tech team, which has won seven straight games coming in. Here are three things to watch in this matchup. 1. LA Tech’s offense vs. TCU’s defense: Since making a quarterback change earlier in the year, the LA Tech Bulldogs have featured one of the best offensive units in the county. Since current QB Colby Cameron took over the job, the Bulldogs are averaging a very impressive 34.8 points and 445.6 years per game. Their wide receiver Quinton Patton is also one of the best at his position, where he has put up 1,135 yards and 10 touchdowns throughout the course of the season.
