Forget the health-care debate and trying to decipher why Adrien Brody is starring in a Predator reboot. The real question everybody wants to know is whether or not Tim Tebow will play Saturday against LSU?

It appears we'll have to wait until later in the week to find out. Tebow was cleared to return to practice Tuesday, but his status for top-ranked Florida's trip to No. 4 LSU won't be decided until doctors have a chance to guage his progress.
Les Miles, predictably, wants the '07 Heisman Trophy winner on the field Saturday. Why wouldn't he? If the Tigers beat a Tebow-less Gators team, it won't answer any questions about whether LSU is truly a national title contender or just a team that took advantage of their opponents missing their cornerstone player. The Tigers need Tebow to play just to make sure we're not left with any doubt.
Here's betting Tebow's going to play and Urban Meyer will wait as long as possible before he either has to make an announcement or someone (i.e. another teammate or an athletics department employee) forces his hand. It wouldn't be out of character for Tebow to keep this whole thing under wraps: remember the theatrics in his announcement that he would be returning for his senior year?
That's why it's so hard to get caught up in the "will or won't he" nonsense, when you consider the principal piece of this question. Tim Tebow, much like TNT, knows drama. He'll be in Death Valley on Saturday, ready to play. Actually, I'd be more stunned that he not play.
