Senior Owl running back Montel Harris, who battled injuries, a change in schools and repeated discipline issues which led to his separation from the team at Boston College, today set Temple school records rushing for 351 yards on 36 carries (9.8 yards per carry) and scored 7 rushing touchdowns in today’s victory over Army 63-32. This game had just less than 1,000 yards on the ground by both teams (Owls – 534, Army – 407) Harris, who scored on runs of 60, 1, 1, 37, 2, 37, 1 yards starting with just over four minutes left in the second quarter, accounted for 351 of the 534 rushing yards.
