A new college football attendance record is primed to be set when the Tennessee Volunteers play the Virginia Tech Hokies at Bristol Motor Speedway in 2016. The half-mile race track, nestled between the two campuses in eastern Tennessee, boasts 158,000 seats, and it is completely plausible that everyone of them will be filled for this monumental game. Even if the game doesn't sellout, it could still break the NCAA's single game attendance record, which was set at 115,109 when Notre Dame paid a visit to Michigan earlier this season. It's been 42 years since the last football game was played in the Bristol infield. In 1961, the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles played a preseason game there. Via Dr. Saturday
