The last time a college football player named Cameron got got with a stolen laptop he went on to win a Heisman trophy and became a first overall pick in the NFL draft. This Cameron will probably not be so lucky.Cameron Clear, a sophomore tight end for Tennessee was dismissed from the team on Friday by Derek Dooley. On Tuesday Clear had been arrested after he was spotted using a stolen laptop in front of Neyland Stadium. He was later officially charged with theft of somewhere between $1,000 and $10.000. Using the stolen laptop in front of the stadium was a pretty stupid idea but at least he didn’t throw it out of a window.Dooley said it hurts anytime a player is dismissed but there’s times when a player does something that ends his privilege of being part of the team…Then he probably compared dismissing Clear to Hitler dismissing Josef Wagner from the Nazi party. Dooley really likes WWII comparisons.Clear was a 4-Star prospect coming out of high school in 2010. At 6-foot-6, 283-pounds, Clear was considered the 18th best TE prospect in the country and the 2nd best prospect in the state of Tennessee according to Rivals. He had seen action in 12 games his freshman season but only caught one pass for four yards.
