For all the talented players involved in the past twoTerritorial Cup games between ASU and Arizona, it seems strange that so muchwould come down to kicked footballs. In 2009, it was Arizona kicker Alex Zendejas' last-second,36-yard field goal that gave the Wildcats a 20-17 win in Tempe. That score, however, came only after ASU receiver Kyle Williams muffed a punt just momentsearlier, giving Arizona the game's last scoring chance.Zendejas may have been a hero in 2009, but he played goat inlast season's thriller that saw ASU win in double overtime. With Arizona just apoint after away from a regulation victory, ASU defensive end James Brooksblocked Zendejas' kick to send the game into overtime. After the teams traded scores in the first overtime, ASUscored to take a lead in the second before Arizona got into the end zone aswell. Brooks came up big again, though, blocking Zendejas' point-after attemptonce more and giving the Sun Devils a 30-29 win. This season, both teams have battled kicking woes, and thefeet of a few men could once again play prominently into the outcome of thisfierce rivalry game. But that's not the only intriguing matchup (be it for thewrong reasons) this year, as both teams field big threats in what could bea shootout.Click here or click on the photo below for a breakdown of how the Sun Devils and Wildcats stack upheading into Saturday's game.TALE OF THE TAPE: Click for a photo-gallery breakdown of the Arizona-Arizona State game.
