A few weeks ago we gave you a look at where the Buckeye class stood and how we expected it to vault to an elite class sometime soon. The Buckeyes are starting to do exactly what we expected them to do. An earlier article about Buckeye rival Michigan’s recruiting compared Coach Brady Hoke’s approach to a sprint. Coach Urban Meyer does it differently, pacing himself and his recruiting class in order to make a big push in the several months preceding NSD. However, in the last three weeks the Buckeyes have landed four prospects in Jayln Holmes, Jamarco Jones, Terry McLaurin, and Stephan Collier. Offensive lineman Jamarco Jones sticks out as the prize catch because of the lack of depth at the offensive line position.
