The Dregs: The Colorado insurgency was fun while it lasted

Lame game(s) of the week. Bottom of the Barrel: Colorado (2-4) at Kansas State (4-3) Both the Buffaloes and Wildcats won in shocking fashion last week, but don't be fooled by fancy box-scorin', now. Colorado's upset of Kansas last week was a shocker, but the Buffs are good for precisely one of those each year and have had their fun, which is why immediately after beating the No. 17 team in the nation they still find themselves three-point underdogs to a team that's lost to Louisiana-Lafayette and only beat UMass by four. We're very big fans of The Majestic Buffalo and the football team that bears its crest, but Tyler Hansen's un-re-un-redshirt status aside, Dan Hawkins ain't getting those ten wins any time soon.
