First of all congratulations to the Yellow Jackets for not only the win, but their outstanding effort on both sides of the ball for all sixty minutes on Saturday. After the recent road difficulties the prior two weeks, this was a much needed game to fuel this team for the remainder of the schedule. Now Georgia Tech has to take advantage of some home cooking the balance of the season.
Playing against the # 5 rated team in the BCS that many were already projecting as a national championship participant on January 9, 2012, this win was that much sweeter. The roar at BDS was constant for the entire game, and after holding the high octane tigers to a paltry field goal on their first possession of the game, the crowd noise grew into a crescendo that was unwavering the rest of the evening and fueled the Yellow Jackets to their best performance under Coach Paul Johnson. I remain optimistic that this will become the crowd standard for BDS heading into the rest of the home schedule. This...

Football. Washington's Confidence Never Wavered
It was about 20 minutes after the delirium had subsided, and although all of his teammates were out of their gear, Tevin Washington was still wearing his - minus his helmet - and he was just about as deliriously excited as he gets. It's hard to tell with Georgia Tech's quarterback. He grins a little more when he's amped, but other than that . . . there's not much change...

Apparently Georgia Tech Has A Passing Game. Who Knew?
Georgia Tech is leading unbeaten and fifth-ranked Clemson 24-3 at the half, in part due to this Megatronic 44-yard catch by Stephen Hill off a Tevin Washington pass. Washington's been worse than trash most of the season as a passer & Clemson can't possibly play as inept an offensive game in the second half as they did in the first, so the roughly 8% of America stuck with...

Greetings-
Just getting back to the press box. Just like we all thought, eh? A few points and I’ll give up the floor.

2. Tevin Washington delivered. He busted runs of 46 and 56 yards...
