Found April 12, 2012 on The Cardinal Connect:
According to a local sports reporter, the Kentucky football team has been breaking its huddle with “1…2…3…Beat Louisville” at each and every one of their spring practice. Pretty cute, right? This just goes to show you how much things have changed in this state since Charlie Strong has arrived. Louisville football is relevant once again and could potentially be a pre-season top 25 team, while Kentucky may struggle to win four games all season. Saying that Kentucky doesn’t have a chance of beating Louisville wouldn’t be fair, but it’s definitely unlikely. The Cards would never break their huddle with a “Beat Kentucky” chant, but I get a vibe from some of the players that keeping the Governors Cup in the Derby City is very important to them. I can assure you that as long as Charlie Strong is at the helm, a four game losing streak to Kentucky in football will never happen again.
