Last night throngs of well-wishers, fans, curious onlookers, family and the like overflowed out the doors and gathered round the windows of an Oxford Square restaurant to find out exactly where a local 290-pound (that's the rumor) quarterback would commit to play college football. After the Grove and perhaps Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, the Oxford Square is probably the next landmark most associated with Ole Miss. No it's not part of the campus, but it might as well be an extension of it. The Square is as much a part of Ole Miss as it is Oxford. Watch any Ole Miss television appearance and count the number of times shots of the Square are shown.
