Cleveland Sports 360:
The Ohio State Buckeyes just couldn’t get it done again today as they lost to a Joe Paterno-less Penn State today at the Horseshoe in Columbus 20-14. It was bad enough they Buckeyes lost a heart breaker to Purdue last week, today the Braxton Miller led Buckeyes couldn’t get the football into the end-zone the entire second half in this one. Brazton Miller rushed for a touchdown and threw a 7-yard scoring pass to Jake Stoneburner but that was it for the Buckeyes as far as scoring goes.
The Buckeyes now fall to 6-5 on the season and will face Michigan next week. The Buckeyes defense just couldn’t stop the run today and had an intentional grounding and three incompletions on the Buckeyes’ final possession. If Miller could have got it together the Buckeyes could have pulled this one off. Penn States defense was just to much for the young Braxton Miller to handle today.
When Braxton Miller gets it together the Buckeyes are going to have a good quarterback. Miller just needs time to adjust...

In many ways, it was a coming out party for Braxton Miller. All it lacked was the storybook ending.
With senior receiver DeVier Posey back on the field, Miller had one of his most impressive performances of the season, throwing and scrambling like a seasoned veteran. Poor first-half defense and two second-half fumbles by Boom Herron and Carlos Hyde put Ohio State behind the Nittany...
Eleven Warriors and SportsbyBrooks have reported that Urban Meyer will indeed be the next coach at Ohio State, apparently confirming rumors that have been swirling all season long.
Meyer, who enjoyed great success at Bowling Green, Utah, and Florida before retiring for health reasons, publicly denied these reports on Saturday as he provided color commentary on the Nebraska-Michigan...
Urban Meyer would work wonders with the talented Braxton Miller if he becomes the coach at Ohio State, Bill Livingston writes.

Ohio State experienced yet another slow start and this time freshman quarterback Braxton Miller fell just short of pulling off another fourth-quarter comeback.
Millers frenzied 9-yard scramble on fourth down with 1:41 remaining in the game fell a single yard short of a crucial first down and Penn State held on for a 20-14 victory Nov. 19 before a Senior...
For the third straight week, Ohio State fell into an early 10-0 hole and that conspired for a 20-14 Senior Day loss to Penn State. Freshman QB Braxton Miller was worth 183 total yards and two touchdowns, but the Buckeyes committed two costly turnovers and a crucial fourth-quarter penalty that doomed their comeback chances.
Some quick thoughts on the Buckeye’s 2o-14 loss to No. 21 Penn State.
- Braxton Miller is a stud. He makes one or two ‘wow’ plays every game. While his passing stats weren’t great (7-17, 83 yards, 1TD) and he had some mistakes (notably the intentional grounding on Ohio State’s final possession), Miller is a playmaker in every sense of the word. He rescued some broken...
Undoubtedly, Penn State and Ohio State are at a crossroads for their respective programs. Scandal has come to dominate the headlines for their seasons.
Let their matchup against each other remind everyone that they can still be potent football teams – young and not ready for national championship contention, perhaps – and can put the distractions behind them to put on an entertaining...
What's the defensive game plan against Braxton Miller and the Ohio State offense on Saturday? How concerned should we be with Dan Herron?
These guys won't be there, but I imagine we'll hear their names in the broadcast once or twice
Hey, did you know today was Ohio State’s Senior Day? Somehow, with all the off-the-field news, it had completely slipped my mind. Go figure.
In other on-the-field news, assuming the NCAA doesn’t decide to suspend him in the next few hours, DeVier Posey will make his season...

The skinny: Expect the defenses to dominate. ... Ohio State true freshman QB Braxton Miller has gained a lot of confidence and can run and also buy time for receivers to break open. In other words, when the play breaks down, he's dangerous. ... Buckeye...
