Last week saw Alabama and Wisconsin flex their muscles against ranked foes, each burying a top-15 team. We saw Clemson prove the doubters wrong (including yours truly) by going on the road and beating a tough Virginia Tech team while we saw South Carolina finally slip up and lose a game thanks to the abysmal play of Stephen Garcia.
The national title chase is becoming clearer with each week. In the SEC the winner of the LSU-Alabama game on Nov. 5th will be the front-runner while Oklahoma and Wisconsin will battle it out for the second spot in the polls. While we don’t have the marquee games this week that we had last week, we still have three games pitting top-20 teams against each other as well as a ********-in-the-making with Nebraska hosting Ohio State.
