There’s an interesting feeling in the air at Indiana University – a school that prides itself on success in basketball, in the Jacobs School of Music and in the Kelley School of Business, but is a perennial loser on the gridiron. It’s a feeling of an uncertain future in the game of football. The interesting thing is, uncertainty may be a positive thing.
In the past, Indiana’s football Hoosiers have been the butt of many jokes. First year coach Kevin Wilson, though,isn’t laughing. Earlier this summer, Wilson was a guest on the Zakk and Jack radio show on 1260 WNDE. Prior to him being introduced, the hosts made a few jokes about Indiana’s historic lack of success in football. Wilson responded with hostility.
“We’re yelling at the media guys. They don’t have a clue,” he said....
