Via @HanlonRocks I don’t know how this was missed yesterday but there was a streaker during the Taxslayer.com Gator Bowl. Television cameras did not pick up the streaker but our friend HanlonRocks took this picture from the stands of Florida vs. Ohio State. It looks like the guy only got half way there (Thank God). My favorite part of the picture is the Florida football team just staring at them. The Gators would end up beating the Buckeyes securing a winning season.

Meyer's 2012 Buckeyes show promise

A new era for Ohio State football officially started Tuesday morning as Urban Meyer met with his new team. Urban Meyer bans Ohio State reportedly football players from using Twitter.

Ohio State football players are getting their first idea of what their lives will be like under the direction of new head football coach Urban Meyer. For one thing, they'll be spending a lot less time using social media, as His Urbaness has apparently banned players from using Twitter. Meyer obviously wants to stop those pesky "distractions" that hinder...

Buckeyes meet fitting end in Gator Bowl

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. Ohio States 2012 Gator Bowl experience was rather forgettable. Considering the circumstances of the past 54 weeks or so, the 2011 season and the NCAA bowl ban looming in the 2012 season, it might also be considered regrettable. Mondays 24-17 loss to Florida it didnt feel that close, not past the second quarter, anyway marked a disappointing but fitting end...

Gator Bowl win pushes Gators in right direction

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. His first bowl win was in the books. The Gatorade shower had been delivered. The shiny silver bowl trophy was in safe hands. The Ohio State Buckeyes won't be playing in a bowl next season, and they won't be tweeting, either. A down season for the Gators ended with two of the team's best players getting invited to the Senior Bowl. Floyd and Defense Make a Statement

He's back home on the inside of the defensive line and with this tumultuous season behind him Sharrif Floyd says the Gators are ready to make forward progress in 2012. The sophomore defensive tackle from Philadelphia has been a mainstay for the Florida defense all year and on Saturday that defense was dominant against a Big-10 squad that was supposed to be bigger and more physical.

Andre Debose has spent all season giving the Gators a deep threat. In Monday's Gator Bowl, he found a different, but familiar, way to make an impact. The kickoff return also forced changes to be made to the Florida record books.

Will Muschamp explains strange sequence that caused him to yell at QB Jacoby Brissett

Muschamp was irate with Brissett after a delay of game penalty. (ESPN2 screen grab from throwtheflagblog.com) In a season full of confusing series on offense, Florida added another one in the Gator Bowl. The Gators ultimately beat Ohio State 24-17, so this sequence will be forgotten by most people, though QB Jacoby Brissett probably will remember it vividly because coach Will Muschamp...

Robert Clark, a former Gators receiver, intends to sign with Louisville, he told Scout.com’s Louisville site. Clark left Florida in October, along with fellow Dwyer HS graduate Gerald Christian.
