The Packers traded their first round pick to the Jets and moved down to gain an extra second round pick. With that pick, the 36th overall pick, the Packers picked Jordy Nelson, wide receiver out of Kansas State. My first reaction….ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?! Nelson has great size at 6′2 5/8″ and weighs 215 pounds. He caught 122 passes in 2007 for 1606 yards. He was a Biletnikoff Award finalist and a consensus All-American in 2007. Nelson is also supposed to be a great specials teams player.
