Thomas Williams rooting for Oregon State?!?!

In Thomas Williams' latest blog on the Yard he stated that he was rooting for Oregon State to win today so that his alma mater, USC, wouldn't have to go to the Rose Bowl for the 4th straight year. Really Thomas? Are the Trojans so bored of the Rose Bowl that they would prefer not to win the Pac-10 and instead go to a different BCS bowl game? First of all, if USC doesn't even win the Pac-10, then they will have absolutely no shot at the BCS title game. Their hopes are slim as it is, but there is still a sliver of hope to all those 1 loss teams out there. Second of all, as a Pac-10 or Big 10 team you should want to be in the Rose Bowl every single year if you aren't in the title game. I was shocked to read this blog from Thomas, but I really do hope he gets his wish and the Beavers trounce the Ducks to claim the Pac-10 title away from the apparently "bored with the Rose Bowl" Trojans.
