The Battle of Florida game played Saturday night in Boca Raton at FAU Stadium featured three former Gators, Deonte Thompson (Belle Glade) Dan Wenger (Coral Springs) and William Green (Hoover, Ala.). Wenger and Thompson played for the South team while Green participated for the North squad. Bobby Bowden's North team blew out Howard Schnellenberger's South squad in the inaugural all-star game, 51-3.
