A trio of Gators have been named to the rosters of the inaugural Battle of Florida game set to take place at FAU Stadium in Boca Raton later this month. Wide receiver Deonte Thompson (Belle Glade) and offensive lineman Dan Wenger (Coral Springs) have been named to the South roster while defensive end William Green (Hoover, Ala.) was selected to the North roster.

Gators Make Pease Hiring Official
The Gators made it official Wednesday morning that Brent Pease will be named offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Pease has been coaching for 21 years and spent the previous six at Boise State. Eleven of his 21 seasons as a coach have come as an offensive coordinator, also serving in that role at Montana, Northern Arizona, Kentucky and Baylor.
