The time has finally come for the 2013 NFL Draft to get underway. One of the biggest events Jets fans are looking forward to, due to the lackluster attempt of a season this past year. In order for the 2013 offense (and future ones) to succeed this coming season, the Jets needs to draft a play-maker. I see a potential play-maker in wide receiver out of West Virginia University, Tavon Austin. Austin ranked up 2,764 yards in total for the Mountaineers, and made a huge impact with 17 touchdowns. Austin is versatile, and that is an excellent trait to have as a young rookie. He can punt return, kick return, and even rush the ball, if needed. I say draft him. Here's why: Marty Morhingweg's offense. The west coast offense will need speed, and that's exactly what Austin brings to the table. Some fans question his ability to fit into a scheme with Kerley in the mix, but two, fast slot-type receivers are exactly what a west coast offense would beg for.  The weapons lost on the offense include Keller, Greene, and Edwards, if the Jets don't resign him (hopefully they do). Imagine an offense with Edwards and Hill split out as the outside receivers, while you have Austin, Holmes, and Kerley at your disposal in slot or other, unique formations. Drag routes could be used all day with success. So why should the Jets not draft him? You tell me!
