Toledo wide receiver Eric Page is leaving school a year early to go into the NFL draft.
Page's decision, announced Thursday, is a bit of surprise. He says he's been told that he likely won't be selected until the third round at the earliest.
Page is passing up a chance to break the NCAA's record for receptions in a career. He would have needed just 44 catches next year to pass the mark held by Oklahoma's Ryan Broyles.
Page does hold several records at Toledo where he was also a dangerous kick returner. He ran three kickoffs back for touchdowns in his sophomore year.
This season, he caught a school-record 125 passes.
