Kegs 'n Eggs:
He’s still not 100% following knee surgery, but Trent Richardson still showcased his obscene amount of athletic ability at Alabama’s Pro Day on Thursday. His forty times haven’t been blazing, but he’s certainly not in top form, either. One thing that does appear to be in top form, however, is his blocking (or at least [...]

What do you give the highest paid college football coach in the nation? Well, if you are defending national champion Alabama, you give him a raise.
In the midst of a spring practice that, by all accounts, is going well, Nick Saban received a contract extension with an immediate bump in salary to 5.3 million, an increase of 550,000 over what he would have made in 2012 under his old...
This is, allegedly, AJ McCarron’s Yukon. I don’t know this for certain because, as you can see, he isn’t in the car in this picture. But, I think, given the vanity license plate and the #10s on the taillights, it’s safe to assume that this is indeed the Alabama quarterback’s truck (either that or somebody REALLY loves AJ McCarron). This car is apparently parked...
Trent Richardson really impressed at his Alabama Pro Day. He especially impressed the Cleveland Browns, who may take the running back as they hold the fourth overall pick of the NFL Draft. Richardson ran a 40-yard-dash time of 4.45-4.49 seconds, according to NFL.com, and bench-pressed 225 pounds 25 times. However, what Richardson really did that blew some people away was when...
All eyes were on Courtney Upshaw, Mark Barron and Trent Richardson, but Alabama wasn't the only pro day of note for the Packers.
The University of Alabama football team had its seventh practice of the 2012 spring session on Wednesday. The full pads practice was held outside in the bright sunshine of a beautiful spring day in Tuscaloosa.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) -- Trent Richardson flashed speed and power at Alabama's second pro day.
The former Crimson Tide tailback, linebacker Courtney Upshaw and safety Mark Barron worked out for NFL scouts, general managers and coaches on Thursday. All three are projected first-round draft picks.
The 227-pound Richardson says he bench-pressed 225 pounds 25 times. NFL.com says...
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – With Alabama leading 8-6, Tennessee scored four runs in the eighth inning en route to a 10-8 victory over the Crimson Tide in the opening game of a three-game Southeastern Conference series on Friday night from Lindsey Nelson Stadium. With the loss, Alabama falls to 9-17 overall and 1-6 in SEC play. Tennessee improves to 16-10 and 3-4 in conference play.
There are physical traits of Dre Kirkpatrick’s game would seem to make him a natural replacement for Cedric Griffin, but what does NFL Scouting think of the Alabama cornerback that is set to visit the Vikings? There are aspects that make him a great fit and then there are concerns.

On March 7, Alabama had its Pro Day, and every NFL team had scouts and/or coaches in Tuscaloosa to look at prospective former Crimson Tide players in anticipation of the NFL draft in late April. But because three Bama players were unable to participate on March 7, the Crimson Tide hosted Pro Day II Thursday.
If you like surprises, watch the Alabama baseball team. In some games, the Crimson Tide comes up with great pitching and defense. In some games, Bama comes up with fine hitting. What would be a pleasant surprise would be for the team to put them together on a consistent basis.

The biggest day of the year at least for the past decade or so is a little more than three weeks away and Im ready to make my pick for the Browns.
For all practical purpose, the Browns have the second pick in the NFL Draft once you acknowledge quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are off the board. That means the...
