Tyrann Mathieu no longer wants the “Honey Badger” nickname, just a former college football star hoping to get a shot with a NFL team.

“I think at LSU, the Honey Badger (person) came to an abrupt end,” Mathieu said. “I definitely want to do it the right way this time.” The junior is in Mobile on his own time during Senior Bowl week attempting to show teams he is on the right path to recovery. “I’m not (expecting) people trusting me. Trust takes time, especially when you have done a lot of things for people not to trust you.”
