This is the most infuriating point of this whole Student Athlete High Performance Center debacle. UC Berkeley won their most recent court battle with the Panoramic Hill Association, California Oaks Foundation, and City of Berkeley and were poised to begin construction after 3 years of legal battles. Until today when the effing geniuses at Berkeley decided to voluntarily postpone construction until an appeal is ruled upon. This project is increasing in cost by $750,000 per month because of this, and I was promised as a sophomore that this thing would be under construction (I am since graduated). Get this thing built or the Football program and the smaller sports teams will suffer in their recruiting efforts.

  • F**king idiots, they have their window of opportunity why don't they just do it already?!
  • Does voluntarily agree secretly mean strongly encouraged by a judge or attorneys to do so...? Wacky sh!+ that's for sure, but still better off without those tree people mucking things up...
