I’m not really sure where to start. There is nothing I can say that is going to make you feel any better than you do right now. That was an extremely tough loss to take. Not just because a team that looked to on their way an undefeated season took an L in the loss column, but it’s the way that it happened.
With just a few minutes left in the third quarter, Louisville had a commanding 28-7 lead, but unfortunately, everything needed to keep Central Florida in the game happened.
This team can easily bounce back and win the rest of their games by a convincing fashion. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that they don’t control their own destiny. Unless Central Florida loses two games, Louisville won’t be going to a BCS Bowl.
Not earning a BCS bid wouldn’t make this season a failure, but it would sure be a disappointment.
